SKYLER JOINS WOMBAT DEVELOPER'S PROGRAM TO MAKE C3 THE TRUE PLUG'N'PLAY MODULAR BUILDING BLOCKWALNUT CREEK, CA, September 14, 2006 — Skyler Technology, Inc., an industry leader providing in-memory databases for real-time processing of market data for the financial services industry, has joined the Wombat Developer's Program as part of the company's initiative to facilitate plug'n'play integration for customers. Skyler has made it a priority to become the most plug'n'play modular building block to process real-time market data in the Financial Services Industry. Therefore the company has joined Wombat's Developers Program. Skyler will build an off-the-shelf adapter that connects Wombat's feed handler to Skyler's C3 Database. The adapter will help Skyler's customers to decrease setup and integration time from days to merely hours. In addition, Skyler is now able to tap into multiple feeds normalized by Wombat, thereby providing adapters to multiple data sources. "Skyler's Wombat Adapter, which comes as part of the product, will allow our customers to quickly integrate Skyler's Database with their often existing Wombat feed handlers. This adapter is a natural link between these complementary technologies. We see tremendous benefits for our customers in terms of a reduction in development and integration time" reports Michael Lenahan, President and COO, Skyler Technology, Inc.. Skyler C3 Database for Dynamic Data is the first low-latency, modular infrastructure building block that combines a real-time cache, a stream processing engine, and a time series database in one fast, flexible, and easy-to-use product. The combination of these characteristics promises to change the way financial services firms respond to the increasing market data rates. The C3 system can be applied to power real-time applications including algorithmic trading engines, pre- and post-trade analysis systems, risk management applications, ticker plant systems, and many more. Skyler Technology, Inc. is a privately held company located in Walnut Creek, California.
